I had to have my drain field relocated. Paynes Plumbing was very knowledgeable and made sure I understood everything. They took care of every detail for me from getting permits, to inspections, ensuring the electrical work this job needed was completed and inspected, all the way to seed and straw. Jesse the operations manager and his apprentice which was also named Jesse ( what a perfect combination ) came out to my home and was able to help me out with moving my toilet upstairs for me as I had one toilet fail. He also was able to replace my lower level toilet with a brand new toilet that is absolutely amazing. While they were working he noticed a gurgling sound that was likely the start of a clog and we didn't know it! With them already being here he gave me a great deal on running a drain inspection camera to get eyes into the line and was able to get it cleared out! These guys were over the top professional and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I love this company and will definitely be using them again!! I discovered that none of showers, sinks, or toilets were draining. I called several of the big companies and none could come out for at least a week. We called Paynes and even though we are in White Pine, they said they would come out and help us.

Jesse came to our house, found our septic tank (even though it wasn't where we were told it was when we moved in here), uncovered it, found the problem, and fixed it all in about 10 minutes.

We were very pleased and will definitely be recommending these guys to anyone. If you need plumbing work done, these are the guys to call. Thank you for coming so quickly.

This company responded fast to our needs. I had an emergency plumbing need and found their ad on internet and so relived I got such an honest and professional company that resonded in less than 2 hours, yes, that is right they were at my residence within 2 houra and I live over 1 hour from their office in Knoxville!!! The plumber, Jesse, was very professional! He took care of the problem the same day with over the top professional work, personality, and quality service. He kept me updated and informed of the issue and what he was doing. Quoted me a great price, so there was not a surprise in the end! I can not recommend Jesse or Payne Plumbing services enough. Jesse's services deserve much higher than 5 in rating but unfortunately that is highest star I can give on this rating. This will definitely be our go to business for any concerns in the future. We had a ton of work done. Water heater replaced, water filter, water softener, repipe the house, move our main line into the house, install a yard hydrant, update some fixtures, installation of a new utility sink and pump. The Paynes team was courteous, clean and did a great job.

We called because we had a leak in one of our pipes. We were able to get an appointment promptly. Jesse and Ryan were great! They listened to us and answered all questions we asked, thoroughly. They did a good job with the repair. Cleaned up after themselves too! We asked them for a quote on other plumbing needs, and they were able to get it to us quickly! After i had several companies came out and do an inspection on our septic tank i was told it would need a new tank and all of the sewer pipes were damaged by roots and it would cost 4-5000 in repairs. I needed a 2cd opinion so I found Paynes Plumbing on google and sent him a message around 8:30 that night and he called me immediately. We talked and they showed up 1st thing the next morning and did a thorough inspection and determined the problem was very minor and gave me a great quote to get it fixed. I 100% recommend this company, very honest, responsive, and fair pricing. I wish i would have called them 1st dont make the same mistake i did give them a call.

This company did an excellent job and was willing to work with us on pricing to make certain the job was done right. When asked to communicate with a family member in another state to explain the type of system he was using, John was more than happy to do so immediately which impressed us and my brother. This company is honest, reputable and was more concerned with a job well done than allowing us to get raked over the coals. When told we had found someone less expensive, he gave us advice such as making sure we saw his license and checked references as opposed to being upset. He also understood our financial situation and adjusted his price to the least he could possibly accept and still pay his crew. I would highly advise hiring this company, even if you found someone less costly. Pride in workmanship and commitment in doing the best you can for others is rare these days. I had a water main repair for the house. I worked on all day and couldn’t get it repaired. I called Paynes Plumbing at 7 pm asking if they could come out to make the repair. I was quoted a fair price. Jesse was the tech that arrived onsite. He was very professional and explained what the problem was and made the repairs needed. This was a difficult job that got more complicated as they got into the work. These guys worked so hard and did an amazing job. They were very honest and stuck to his contract price and even lowered it when they did not have to do some of the work he originally quoted. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

Jesse and Ryan came out to do a septic inspection and had to dig up the septic tank to do a full inspection. Prices were very reasonable and the technicians were absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable, well spoken, caring people. John, the owner came out to do the job himself. He constantly kept me apprised of what was happening. He came for septic lift pump replacement and installation. John Payne came to our residence after notifying us by text that he was on his way. He identified the problem within 15 minutes and we discussed what was needed to fix the problem. I let him know what materials I wanted and he provided an estimate with warranty information. He ordered the parts he needed that included a pump and associated piping and connections. He left my residence and picked up what he needed and came back in a reasonable amount of time and installed the pump with new piping and connections and valve. The installation was so much better than the original installation performed during the.house build. John was amiable and really knew his business. He worked in 90+ degree heat and took no shortcuts. I was so impressed I have his companies card and they will be the first plumbers I call next time I need one. I would recommend John Payne Plumbing and Electrical to anyone needing that type of work.

Really could not ask for a better experience and service provided for the repair I needed on a sump pump replacement. Techs that came out were very friendly and honest. They walked me through everything which gave me a sense of trust and willingness to move forward with the service. John follow up with more insurance that they will provide fair and quality work. Next day John came out personally and provided A+++ service. Hopefully I will not need to call them again anytime soon but if I do need service they will be the first to call. Highly recommended 👌

Chris did an amazing job and went above and beyond in his workmanship. He was honest and upfront about cost and time of repair. He repaired a Tjoint and ran a water line to our fridge. He also prepared some water lines for a washer dryer hookup in the basement. I highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs as they were extremely professional and knowledgeable.

I was having an issue with sewage backing up into my half bath. I called John and he was able to fix the line from my house to the septic tank, add two risers and reroute water line. We weren’t sure if the septic field was compromised or not so John ran a water test and it failed. John helped me get in contact with the Health department to get a permit for the field. Once the permit was approved, John was able to get the job done in one day. John was very professional and answered all my questions. We are very happy to have a fully functioning home again. Needed to have a turnoff valve replaced on a 50+ year old galanized water line that was frozen open from corrosion. John was on time and completed the job quickly and very efficiently. As my house was built in 1951, I am sure that I will need plumbing services again and will not hesitate to contact John when the need arises. I would recommend him highly.

I had sewage backing up into my half bath on the first floor. I called around to several septic companies. The first company was very pricey and wanted to do unnecessary work and all the other companies didnt answer or just do pumping of the septic tank. I called Paynes Plumbing Services LLC for a second opinion. He was very responsive and came out that day. John was very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all my numerous questions. He fixed the pipe coming from the house to the septic tank, added risers and rerouted a water line. I would highly recommend Paynes Plumbing Services.

I had an emergency leak in our shower piping. These gentlemen came out within the hour to help. John stayed on the phone with me and answered all my questions and even should me how to turn off the water main. Such amazing service by John and Lamarr. Both were very professional and friendly. Our water heater went out. Monday morning I was quoted a price by companies 1 and 2, and shortly afterward called Paynes Plumbing for a cost on the same type water heater. I sent pictures of existing water heater to John at Paynes, got a lower quote, and he mentioned no drip pan. That was not per code. That comment convinced me to go with Paynes. John and Lamar came, replaced the old water heater and hauled it away. They both are friendly, courteous, and professional. I will recommend them to everyone.

JP & Lamar were so professional and did a great job! I called 8 different plumbers with our emergency on Saturday morning and Payne was the ONLY ONE to respond. I had 6 guests at our home and our sewer tank stopped working. Of course it happened late on Friday night of a holiday weekend. These guys came out after a full days work and took care of us. They had great communication throughout the entire process from start to finish. We were so impressed that we have scheduled them for future (elective) projects.

I had a replacement kitchen faucet job that was already done by one of Knoxville’s big plumbing contractors and leaked like a sieve. The company said it was a manufacturer defect in the brand new out of the box faucet that I had purchased from a local supplier. I called Payne’s plumbing for a second opinion and not only did he arrive promptly, he went into my crawl space and corrected my immediate problem and replaced my faucet after thoroughly examining the “defective” one. To John’s credit, he verified the faucet was defective and still covered under manufacture warranty, replaced it with a new one within 30 minutes, and the work he performed was 1/2 the price I would have paid to correct my additional issue with the other company. I was very impressed with his professionalism, honesty, and matter of fact approach to fix my problem. Although the other big company says they have a 24 hour response, they did not show up for 4 days to check on the leaky faucet they had installed for me. I’m all in now going with the little guy JOHN PAYNE PLUMBING whenever I need work done promptly again.

We needed someone to repair our drain field as soon as possible. Made one call to John, he answered himself and was out early morning the very next day to repair. Since then, I’ve had him trench a very difficult project through large boulders, woods and septic system.
